The cord is long enough to be inserted into a socket from the water. The spa has an adjustable light that can be lit or dimmed depending on your mood. If you only want a short spa in shallow water, the machine can be calibrated to deeper or shallow water depths to conserve water.

Pros Cons
  • Modifiable
  • Customize the Mood lighting.
  • Mode of bubbles
  • None

A button regulates the machine. Shift the key to “bubble mode” as the bubbles get smooth, or the duckie becomes stuck in a bubble, which raises the jet stream’s frequency and makes things more animated. This unit’s natural elegance is the built-in lamp, and it’s the same scale and brightness as one of the bicycle lights that the passenger uses to generate energy.

Charybdis it isn't.

Yet another disposable gadget from the Conair people, but not without some redeeming qualities. The two water jets are quite strong. They won't convert your bathtub into a Jacuzzi, but they're capable of applying genuine hydropressure to a 12-inch strip of one side of your body. Since most bathtubs have only a single side, you'll need to make certain that the side to which the Spa unit attaches is the one next to the anatomical part in need of treatment. Also, check with your spouse, partner, or fellow bathtub users before installing the item. My wife has already said she wants no part of the device and that in removing it I'd better be sure those suction cups don't leave marks on the porcelain. Even if you did leave the spa in place, it would be a bad idea, since anyone using the shower would get the top half of the machine wet, which the instructions indicate is a strict no no. The machine has a variable switch. If your bubbles go flat or rubber duckie gets stuck in a quagmire, just put the switch into "bubble mode," which increases the frequency of the jet streams and stirs things up a bit more. But the real genius of this machine is its built-in light. It's exactly the same size and brightness of one of those bicycle headlights that require the rider to generate the power. I would love to meet the engineer who came up with this inspired final touch, which preoccupied me throughout my entire bath. I can't come up with a single functional or aesthetic purpose for the light, which is probably why the Conair designers installed it--to kind of distract the consumer from the unit's actual limitations. On the other hand, the light does, after a while, give the machine a sense of "personality." It's kind of like the little bugger is staring back at me, and I'm quite sure I detect a smile. I wonder why and at whose expense.

FILL LINE LEVEL ?????????

This product, for the price seems to work quite well. Granted its not meant to be a real whirlpool type bath. I am wondering though about the fill-line level. Is this the minimum line or the maximum line for filling. The wording FILL-LINE can also be interpreted as the minimum for filling to enable the unit to work properly I would think. If I fill the water to this fill-line then it does not cover ones body with water. I am a petite person so I can only imagine a large person trying to enjoy a relaxing bath.

This spa was the first and only Amazon purchase i ever returned.I was really psyched to have ordered it as my original conair spa bts1d had gone kaput after 3 years(i loved it).I figured the bts2 would be a coupla steps up,WRONG WRONG WRONG and WRONG was i.This thing is huge and bulky,it takes up 3x more room than the bts1d did,has one fourth the power, and was a huge disapointment for me.It has a so called mood light,BFD.Save your money, time, and anxiety by NOT purchasing this thing. You'll be glad you didn't.I found my original model thru one of Amazon's pvt dealers and i had a good experience w/ this gentleman,PLUS i've got me a brand new Bts1d spa,and it just rocks my world baby!
